Shout! on the run with Colin Jackson

Former Olympic champion Colin Jackson hot footed it between primary schools around Westminster to promote a healthy lifestyle among children - and Shout! was there to capture all of the action.
Colin - an ambassador for the Tesco Great School Run - ran the half-marathon to promote the annual fitness event which attracts over a million children from across the UK to take part in a 2km fun run later this year.
After I filmed an interview with Colin and my producer at the first school, we followed him around key stages of the 13 mile event, and he certainly got the kids and passers-by excited! To make sure we could keep up I filmed him from the back of a motorbike and caught him passing through Covent Garden, dodging shoppers along the way..
From there we quickly turned around b-roll for broadcasters and produced this short film for Tesco that afternoon. It was an enjoyable day, the kids were very impressed and we're certainly looking forward to making a sequel!
