Shout! Big Talk
What the feedback has been like from the Shout! Big Talk
Feedback from the Shout! Big Talk has been fantastic with 100% of attendees saying they’d come back to a similar event. The Big Talk attracted around 200 delegates with the quality of the speakers and the ‘Any Questions’ style panel debate being singled out as highlights.
A raft of senior journalists spoke at the event on October 4th and included Hugh Pym, the BBC’s Chief Economics Correspondent, Adam Vandermark, the Editor of This Morning and Rhian Roberts Radio 5 Live’s head of development.
It was a chance for PR’s, press officers and comms directors to grill speakers on developments happening across radio, TV and online.

Under pressure from persistent questioning Rhian disclosed there was a huge commitment from the BBC to make a journey up to Salford worthwhile – with a spokesperson pretty much being guaranteed an interview on BBC Breakfast and 5 Live.
Topics ranged from how much branding is too much, to the importance of case studies and the use of celebrities.
